Spiced Wine for the Holiday Season

If you’re looking for a fun festive way to warm up this holiday season, try this quick and simple recipe for spiced/mulled wine. It’s a guaranteed crowd pleaser at any holiday party!

 

 

Directions

Combine the wine, cider, honey, zest, orange juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise in a crock pot or large saucepan. If you’re using a crock pot, heat on high until wine is hot, then adjust your setting to keep warm for serving. If you’re using a saucepan, bring your ingredients to a boil and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Pour the spiced wine into heat-resistant drinking glasses, add an orange peel to each and serve!
